South Parade Pier : Digital Print
The South Parade Pier print, designed by Divine Aesthetic’s Mark Persaud.
This shot of South Parade Pier was taken by Mark Sept 08. It’s actually 3 shots of the Pier, taken at different exposures and merged together to give a sureal, almost painting like HDR effect.
Southsea Typeface : Digital Print
The Southsea Typeface Print, designed by Divine Aesthetic’s Mark Persaud.
The use of different typefaces to spell out Southsea represents the many different club promotions, collectives and crews emerging in our beloved Southsea that are in turn creating new creative sub cultures within our city, all very different in themselves, but come together to create a diverse yet complete and unified Southsea.
The Pier : Digital Print
The Pier print, designed by Divine Aesthetic’s Mark Persaud.
This image was again originally a photo, taken by Mark, that has been digitally altered to achieve the effect you see.
The Tricorn : Digital Print
The Tricorn Print, design by Divine Aesthetic’s Mark Persaud.
The infamous Portsmouth landmark that is no more. Outstanding architectural example? An abomination to offend the eyes? Whichever side of the wall you stand it’s safe to say few buildings in the history of Portsmouth have caused such polarised opinion or controversy. That’s got to make it at least interesting, right?
This image started life as a tracing of an old photo. After some digital molesting this was the end result. As beautiful as the original?
Under The Pier : Digital Print
Under The Pier, designed by Divine Aesthetic’s Mark Persaud.
This design was inspired by the Victorian Southsea landmark South Parade Pier. The image used is a photograph taken, by Mark Persaud, of the old rusting supports underneath the pier. It was then heavily fettled to produce the final image you see here.
Being semi obsessed with Victoriana around Portsmouth and having featured so prominently in his growing up, Mark was compelled to do something with the less obvious side of the Pier. This design was the result.
